Trequartista

Who we work with

Like any good Trequartista, we can operate and get results in any team. Our roots may well be predominantly in financial services, both institutional and retail, but our client roster includes clients from real estate to rugby, crypto to cleaning, football to food production, legal to learning, sponsorship to skincare and a whole host of other industries we could list in such alliterative fashion. Fashion to fitness in fact.

What have we
done?

We work with businesses ranging from one-man-bands and start-ups to large multi-national investment banks. Here’s a little insight into the work we’ve done for our client roster:

We love the business of sport. We have a pretty sensational track-record in the area too, having represented an array of businesses, investors, athletes and organisations. From FIFA presidential candidates to start-up sports brands, we have delivered amazing results. One of our faves, if we’re honest, is OpenSponsorship. New York & London-based OS is a sports sponsorship tech platform, partnering athletes with brands. It’s awesome and its founders Ishveen Jolly and Ron Nesbitt are great. Not only do they have a wonderful product, they also have an exciting and interesting story to tell. And we loved telling it. The stand-out initiative to-date was the amazing news that they had secured investment from none other than sports icon, Serena Williams, through her VC fund. With that information to hand, we secured a host of broadcast interview opportunities, including Sky News and Bloomberg, as well as national press coverage in the UK and USA, thought leadership pieces in several titles, newswire pick up, the lot. It was a blast. It was so good that not only did possible clients directly contact the business, but we saw a 350%+ increase in traffic to OS’ website. Not bad for a bit of PR that….

A fully authored op-ed in the Times, interviews with the FT, WSJ, a full write up in City A.M, hundreds of hits all over the world – all delivered in a few months. That is a snapshot of what we achieved in a project for Chancery Advisors, the London-based law firm. The story we developed was punchy. We took on the common perception of the Cayman Islands being seen as a tax haven and ripped up the narrative to create discussion around these offshore jurisdictions being the future of the new economy. From ESG credentials to the digitisation of the new economy, we generated debate (and column inches) on this topic for one of the most interesting law firms out there. Loved it.

A bit of PR there already. We don’t represent Coutts. As an agency, we never have, but our founder Chris was Coutts’ external affairs lead, or public relations manager, or something like that. He was there, managing the esteemed bank’s press office, moving the strategy from the back-foot to the front-foot. He secured a host of broadcast and national news features, profile opportunities and general buzz. He also oversaw the media strategy of Coutts becoming the largest UK bank and wealth manager to achieve Certified B Corporation status. It was a great experience and the contacts and skillset he developed during his years there are still very useful today!

What a business, what a guy. The Black Farmer business, founded and run by Wilfred Emmanuel-Jones, is quite simply, brilliant. We’ve done taste tests with national press, marked Remembrance Day with the Poppy Sausage campaign, worked with artists, introduced the business to investors, positioned on BBC’s Question Time, seen him interviewed by Nigel Farage. Generally smashed it. One of life and business’ most engaging characters, Wilfred is a dream to advise and given we’re in the industry of storytelling, has one of the most interesting and engaging you could possibly tell.
